TEXTILE

The Textile series was influenced by tribal Southeast Asia textiles, which are often offering very simple geometric pattern and an irregularity in the weaving

​

The series was also influenced by textile works of the Bauhaus, especially the work of Anny albers

​

The Textile series is a dramatic change of technic compare to his first series Geometry.  

​

While geometry is still an important part of the various patterns, the overall impression is of softness due to the use of the "warp and weft" technic which is covering the geometry and softening it.
